Diamondbacks 4, Giants 1: Aaron Hill recorded two hits and two RBIs as host Arizona sent reeling San Francisco to its sixth consecutive loss.

Paul Goldschmidt continued to light up Tim Lincecum (5-5), collecting two hits and scoring twice, and Chris Owings added an RBI triple as the Diamondbacks won for only the third time in 10 games. Josh Collmenter (5-4) allowed one run on four hits over five innings.

Buster Posey went 2-for-3 and Pablo Sandoval provided the lone run with an RBI triple for the Giants, who fell to 1-9 in their last 10. Lincecum was charged with four runs on seven hits over six innings.

Posey singled and came home on Sandoval's two-out triple in the first inning, but Arizona grabbed the lead in the fourth as Hill singled home Goldschmidt and scored on Martin Prado's booming double to center field. Owings tripled in a run in the fifth but was thrown out trying to turn it into an inside-the-park homer.

Hill's sacrifice fly in the sixth made it a 4-1 lead and the Diamondbacks' bullpen preserved it with four innings of one-hit relief. Addison Reed notched his 17th save by striking out the side in the ninth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Goldschmidt, who has reached base in 14 consecutive games, is batting .577 with seven homers and 17 RBIs in his career against Lincecum. ... Posey has hit safely in six straight and 15 of his last 16 games. ... Giants CF Angel Pagan had an epidural to alleviate the stiffness in his lower back that has sidelined him for the last four games and could return to the lineup Saturday. ...
