Dodgers 13, Braves 6: Carl Crawford hit a three-run homer and Juan Uribe smacked a two-run shot as host Los Angeles trounced Atlanta to move one victory away from winning the National League Division Series.

The hot-hitting Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig each recorded three hits, two RBIs and three runs scored as the Dodgers took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-5 series. Crawford scored three runs and Uribe crossed the plate twice for Los Angeles, which collected 11 of its 14 hits in the first four innings.

Chris Capuano (1-0) pitched three innings of hitless relief after replacing ineffective starter Hyun-Jin Ryu. The Dodgers matched a franchise record for runs in a postseason game – the Brooklyn Dodgers recorded a 13-8 win over the New York Yankees in Game 2 of the 1956 World Series – and attempt to wrap up the series Monday at Dodger Stadium.

Atlanta struck twice in the first inning on RBI singles by Evan Gattis and Chris Johnson before Crawford’s blast to right off Julio Teheran (0-1) capped a four-run second. The Braves tied the game in the third on a pair of run-scoring groundouts before Adrian Gonzalez and Skip Schumaker delivered RBI singles in the bottom of the frame to restore the Dodgers' two-run lead.

Ramirez hit an RBI triple in the fourth and scored on Puig's single to center to make it 8-4 before Uribe launched a shot off Alex Wood that barely cleared the right-field fence, pushing the advantage to six runs. Ramirez, Gonzalez and Puig added run-scoring singles in the eighth and Atlanta’s Jason Heyward hit a two-run homer in the ninth.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Ramirez, who also doubled, joined Jim Edmonds as the only players with six extra-base hits in their first three career postseason contests. … Ryu allowed four runs and six hits in three innings, while Teheran was hammered for six runs and eight hits in 2 2/3 frames. … Veteran RHP Freddy Garcia will start Game 4 for the Braves, while the Dodgers are expected to go with RHP Ricky Nolasco.
