Blue Jays 4, Giants 0:
R.A. Dickey allowed two hits through eight-plus innings and doubled in a run as visiting Toronto handed Barry Zito a rare home loss.

Dickey (5-7) threw 103 pitches with five strikeouts and two walks before leaving with two men on and one out in the ninth. Casey Janssen replaced Dickey and promptly induced a double-play ball by Pablo Sandoval to end the game.

The Blue Jays scored all four runs in the fourth when Henry Blanco walked with one out and scored on Dickey’s third career double. Jose Bautista singled in a run before Mark DeRosa capped the rally with a two-run single off Zito (4-4), who lost at home for the first time in more than 10 months.

The Giants were unable to generate any offense against Dickey, who turned in his best outing of the season after allowing 12 runs in his last two starts. The knuckleballer continued to baffle the Giants after recording a season-high 10 strikeouts against them on May 14.

Adam Lind went 3-for-4 and Bautista had two stolen bases for Toronto, which concluded its seven-game road trip at 3-4. Zito, who entered the game with a 1.40 ERA in his seven previous outings at AT&T Park, allowed four runs on seven hits over six frames.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Zito completed at least six innings without a strikeout for only the second time in his career covering 406 starts. The loss was the Giants' first in Zito’s eight home starts this season. … Giants CF Angel Pagan missed his 10th straight game with a right hamstring strain. … The Giants open a nine-game road trip Friday against Arizona, while Toronto returns home for a three-game series against Texas.
