Rockies 7, Cardinals 6 (15): Corey Dickerson ripped an RBI triple in the 15th inning as host Colorado salvaged a split in the series and dealt St. Louis a blow in its bid to win the National League Central.

Fernando Salas (0-3) ended the 13th with a strikeout before retiring the side in order in the following inning. DJ LeMahieu slapped a one-out single in the 15th before Dickerson brought him home after sending a first-pitch changeup to deep right field for his first career walk-off hit to end the five-hour, nine-minute affair.

Todd Helton forged a 6-6 tie by homering off closer Edward Mujica to lead off the ninth inning. Troy Tulowitzki belted a two-run shot in the third and Dickerson added an RBI triple in the eighth for the Rockies, who banged out 21 hits to win for just the fifth time in 16 outings.

Matt Holliday collected a pair of RBI singles and Tony Cruz and David Freese slapped run-scoring doubles. Carlos Beltran added an RBI single for the Cardinals, who fell for just the fourth time in 13 contests to see their lead dip to one game ahead of Pittsburgh in the division.

Rob Scahill (1-0) entered the game as Colorado's franchise record-tying 10th pitcher and induced an inning-ending double play to exit the 15th unscatched.
