Dodgers 10, Rockies 8: Andre Ethier drove in three runs, including a two-run homer to cap a three-run sixth inning, as visiting Los Angeles overcame Clayton Kershaw's worst start of the season to win its fifth straight.

Kershaw (14-8) allowed a career-high 11 hits - only the second time he yielded 10 or more in 180 lifetime games - and five runs in a season-low five innings as his ERA rose from 1.72 to 1.89. The left-hander also delivered a two-run single in the fifth inning to give the Dodgers a 5-3 lead in a game featuring 33 hits - 18 by Colorado.

Juan Uribe had three hits and two RBIs, Ethier had three hits and Kershaw, Carl Crawford and Mark Ellis had two hits apiece for the Dodgers, whose lead in the National League West grew to 12 1/2 games over Arizona. Los Angeles' Yasiel Puig left in the sixth inning with a mild knee strain after sliding awkwardly into third base.

Jeff Manship (0-5) took the loss after allowing Hanley Ramirez's sacrifice fly which put Los Angeles on top 6-5 before Ethier drove a 2-2 pitch into the Rockies bullpen. Colorado starter Chad Bettis yielded five runs and eight hits in 4 2/3 innings to remain winless (0-3) in seven career outings.

Corey Dickerson and Josh Rutledge drove in runs in the eighth against Ronald Belisario to make it 8-7, but Michael Cuddyer hit into his second straight inning-ending double play with runners on first and third. Kenley Jansen allowed a solo homer to Wilin Rosario in the ninth before converting his 18th consecutive save opportunity.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki did not play because of leg soreness while CF Dexter Fowler (bruised left knee) missed his sixth straight game. ... When Kershaw struck out Rosario in the third inning, he joined Sandy Koufax (1961-66) and Don Drysdale (1962-65) as the only Dodgers to record 200 or more strikeouts in four or more consecutive seasons. Kershaw, who improved to 52-0 when receiving four or more runs of support, allowed 10 hits in a 10-1 loss at Colorado on July 22, 2008. ... Michael Young struck out as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning in his first at-bat as a Dodger.
