Orioles 7, Mariners 2:
Matt Wieters and Chris Dickerson had two RBIs apiece to lead visiting Baltimore past Seattle.

Nate McLouth led off the game with a homer to spark a four-run first inning as the Orioles stopped a two-game skid. Jason Hammel (4-1) allowed two runs and seven hits in five-plus innings and four relievers combined to blank the Mariners over the final four innings.

Manny Machado followed McLouth’s homer with a double and scored on two wild pitches by Brandon Maurer (2-4). Nick Markakis singled and Chris Davis drew a walk prior to the two-run double by Wieters which capped the first-inning uprising.

Baltimore added two runs in the sixth on Dickerson’s single. J.J. Hardy added a run-scoring single in the seventh.

Michael Morse hit his eighth homer for the Mariners, who had a three-game winning streak halted. Maurer allowed four runs and six hits in four innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dickerson had three of Baltimore’s 13 hits. … Seattle signed veteran OF Corey Patterson to a minor-league contract and sent him to Arizona for extended spring-training workouts. … The Orioles recalled RHP Zach Clark from Triple-A Norfolk and sent LHP Zach Britton to the same club.
