Dodgers 11, Rockies 5: A.J. Ellis hit a three-run homer during a six-run fifth inning as Los Angeles completed a sweep of the three-game series.

Bobby Abreu added a three-run double in the big inning and rookie Scott Van Slyke hit a two-run double in the eighth for the Dodgers, who improved to 23-11 overall and 15-3 at home - both tops in the major leagues.

Colorado took an early 3-0 lead before Los Angeles cut the deficit to one. Marco Scutaro gave the Rockies a two-run advantage with an RBI single in the fourth, but the Dodgers broke open the game an inning later.

Abreu, who entered the game in the fourth as a defensive replacement for Matt Kemp, put Los Angeles ahead with his double off Colorado starter Alex White (0-2). Matt Reynolds came on and recorded an out before walking James Loney and serving up Ellis' third blast of the season.

Kemp exited after three innings with a hamstring injury. However, he did extend his consecutive games streak of 399, the longest current run in the majors.

The rally made a winner of a shaky Ted Lilly (5-0), who surrendered five runs - four earned - six hits and three walks in 6 1/3 frames. The veteran left-hander, who improved to 10-2 lifetime against Colorado, allowed a total of six runs over his first five starts this season.

White was tagged for six runs in 4 1/3 innings.

Carlos Gonzalez plated Scutaro twice with a pair of groundouts for the Rockies, who have lost eight of nine.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Van Slyke is 2-for-2 with three RBIs over his first two major-league games. He entered Sunday's game in the sixth inning as a replacement for right fielder Andre Either, who was ejected in the bottom of the fifth for arguing balls and strikes after being fanned. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly also was tossed by home plate umpire Mark Carlson. ... Rockies center fielder Dexter Fowler left in the fourth inning after being hit in the left cheek by a throw from Dodgers catcher Ellis.
