Brewers 13, Astros 4: Ryan Braun homered and drove in three runs as host Milwaukee rode a six-run fifth inning to complete a three-game sweep of reeling Houston.

Rickie Weeks and Cesar Izturis homered and had three hits apiece and Jonathan Lucroy added a two-run blast for the Brewers, who amassed 31 runs in the series to post their second series sweep of the year.

Rookie Mike Fiers (5-4) went six-plus innings to win his second straight start, allowing two runs on eight hits to drop the Astros to 2-18 since the All-Star break.

Astros right-hander Jordan Lyles (2-8) watched his defense commit four early errors and wound up getting pummeled for nine runs - seven earned - in five innings to fall to 0-6 away from home and remain winless in his last six starts.

Brett Wallace homered twice and drove in three runs for Houston, which absorbed its ninth straight road loss and fell to 1-22 in its last 23 games away from home.

The Brewers capitalized on the Astros' fourth error to score twice for a 3-2 lead in the fourth before breaking it open with six runs in the fifth.

Braun had a two-run single and Corey added an RBI double before Weeks belted a two-run homer and Izturis added a solo shot to cap the uprising.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Brewers 3B Aramis Ramirez doubled in the sixth to move head of Joey Votto for the National League lead with 51 extra-base hits. ... Houston has lost all nine of Lyles' starts on the road. ... Izturis' homer was only the 17th of his 12-year career. ... Astros 2B Jose Altuve had an RBI single to extend his hitting streak to six games. He has hit safely in 11 of 12 games. ... Fiers has allowed two runs or fewer in eight consecutive starts. Wallace's homer off Fiers was just the third off the rookie and ended his streak of eight starts without allowing a long ball. ... Astros C Jason Castro (knee) will begin a rehab stint Friday at Double-A Corpus Christi.
