Twins 11, Indians 0: Josh Willingham and Justin Morneau each clubbed three-run homers to back Scott Diamond's first career shutout as host Minnesota crushed Cleveland.

Joe Mauer had three hits and two RBIs and Willingham had four RBIs as every player in the Twins' lineup had at least one hit in snapping a three-game losing streak.

Diamond (9-4) was perfect through 4 2/3 innings and wound up allowing three hits - all singles - to improve to 6-1 at Target Field. The left-hander struck out six, did not walk a batter and faced only three batters over the minimum to help Minnesota snap a five-game home losing streak against the Indians.

Cleveland starter Josh Tomlin (5-8) was battered for eight runs on 10 hits over four innings in losing his third consecutive start.

Morneau gave the Twins all the runs they needed with his three-run shot in the first inning, his 12th homer of the year and second in 38 games.

Willingham's three-run homer, his 26th, capped a five-run fourth inning - all the runs coming with two outs - to boost the lead to 8-0.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Tomlin has a first-inning ERA of 12.38, allowing 22 runs in 16 starts. ... The Twins placed 3B Trevor Plouffe (thumb) on the 15-day disabled list Friday and recalled Danny Valencia from Triple-A Rochester. Plouffe has been sidelined since July 20. ... Indians RHP Rafael Perez, who has been on the disabled list since April 26, has been shutdown after complaining of shoulder fatigue following a relief appearance Monday at Triple-A Columbus.
