Yankees 3, Braves 2:
Curtis Granderson hit his 19th home run and Hiroki Kuroda pitched six solid innings as visiting New York completed three-game sweep at Turner Field.

Alex Rodriguez added an RBI single and Derek Jeter scored a pair of runs for the Yankees, who have won six straight and nine of 10.

Kuroda (6-6) struck out a season-high eight and worked around nine hits and a pair of walks en route to his third win in as many decisions. The Japanese right-hander has posted a 3-0 record and a 1.29 ERA over his last four starts.

Atlanta put runners in scoring position in the second, third and fourth innings but could not break through until the fifth. Martin Prado led off that frame with a single and Brian McCann followed by sending a 2-2 fastball deep into the right field seats.

The Yankees struck back in similar fashion in the sixth, when Jeter reached with a single and Granderson followed by driving a 1-1 cutter down the line in right for a 3-2 lead.

Tim Hudson (4-3) suffered the loss for the Braves, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out eight in six innings.

Cody Eppley worked out of a jam in the eighth and Rafael Soriano pitched the ninth for his 11th save.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jeter has hit in all 14 career games at Turner Field, including the postseason and the 2000 All-Star Game. … Braves CF Michael Bourn extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a single in the sixth. … New York RH David Robertson (oblique) rejoined the team on Wednesday and is expected to be activated from the 15-day disabled list on Friday, when the Yankees open a series at Washington.
