Yankees 6, Orioles 4 (10): Nick Swisher hit a two-run homer with two outs in the top of the 10th inning as New York completed a sweep of Baltimore.

Swisher connected with a 2-2 fastball off Kevin Gregg (0-1) after Mark Teixeira kept the inning alive with a pop-fly double to left.

New York's CC Sabathia, who was 16-2 in 22 starts against Baltimore entering the game, yielded four runs, eight hits and struck out eight in six innings.

Boone Logan and Rafael Soriano (1-0) combined for three scoreless innings of relief before Mariano Rivera pitched the 10th for his second save and 605th of his career.

Baltimore's Jake Arrieta allowed four runs, five hits and struck out five in 6 2/3 innings.

After Derek Jeter led off the game with a double to right, Curtis Granderson drove a 1-1 pitch from Arrieta over the right field fence for his first homer.

Baltimore tied it 2-2 in the second when Robert Andino served a 3-2 fastball from Sabathia into center field for a two-run single with the bases loaded and two outs.

The Yankees loaded the bases with none out in the fifth, but Arrieta escaped big damage by only allowing an RBI groundout by Jeter which gave New York a 3-2 lead.

The Orioles went in front 4-3 on Mark Reynolds' two-out, two-run double into the left-center field gap in the bottom half, his first RBIs of the season.

New York tied it 4-4 on Granderson's two-out RBI single in the seventh off reliever Luis Ayala.

The Orioles had the bases loaded with two out in the ninth, but Soriano struck out Adam Jones to end the threat.
