Clay Hensley returned from the disabled list to throw five innings of one-hit ball in his first start in nearly three years, and the visiting Florida Marlins beat the New York Mets 4-1 on Monday for their ninth win in 10 games.

Hensley (1-2) went on the disabled list June 3 with a sprained right shoulder, but he was sharp in his return to the majors — and the rotation. In his first start since July 24, 2008, with San Diego, the righthander allowed just the hit and two walks over five scoreless innings.

The Marlins staked Hensley to a 3-0 lead in the fourth on Mike Stanton's two-run double and Mike Cameron's RBI single. Florida's Emilio Bonifacio extended his hitting streak to 17 games with a single in the eighth, then scored on Logan Morrison's RBI single.

Willie Harris had two of New York's three hits. Carlos Beltran missed his third consecutive game with the flu for the Mets, who have lost five of six.

The contest was a makeup game from a May 17 rainout.
