San Francisco is six games behind Arizona in the NL West The Diamondbacks lost at San Diego 2-0 on Friday.

Belt gave the Giants a 2-0 lead in the fourth with his second homer in as many days. Ross launched his 14th of the year in the fifth and followed Bumgarner's two-out double in the sixth with a run-scoring single before leaving the game with a leg injury.

Stewart capped a three-run seventh with his blast to give San Francisco a 9-1 advantage.
