Second baseman Justin Turner’s wild throw allowed two runs to score in the top of the ninth inning and gave the Florida Marlins a 4-3 victory over the New York Mets on Tuesday.

Trailing 3-2 with the bases loaded and one out against closer Jason Isringhausen (2-2), pinch-hitter Bryan Peterson hit a slow grounder to Turner. He fielded it cleanly, but his throw was wide as Logan Morrison and Mike Cameron scored to send the Mets to their fourth straight defeat.

Omar Infante went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs - his second and third of the season - as the Marlins won their third straight. Infante is hitting .387 over the last 12 games.

Steve Cishek (2-1) pitched two innings of scoreless relief, and Leo Nunez pitched the ninth and earned his 31st save as Florida scored its 19th one-run victory of the season.
