Adam Kennedy hit a walk-off single with one out in the 12th inning, lifting the Seattle Mariners to a 5-4 victory over the visiting New York Yankees on Saturday.
Miguel Olivo went 3-for-5 with three RBIs for the Mariners, who have won nine of their last 10 games.
Justin Smoak hit a one-out single off Yankees closer Mariano Rivera (1-1) and Jack Cust followed with a double. After Franklin Gutierrez was walked intentionally, Kennedy looped a single to shallow center field to score pinch-runner Luis Rodriguez.
David Pauley (4-0) tossed two scoreless innings to notch his second win in as many nights.
Mark Teixeira gave New York a 3-1 lead in the third with a two-run homer, but Seattle jumped ahead in the fourth as Olivo hit a two-run double and scored on Brendan Ryan's single.
The Yankees pulled even three innings later when Curtis Granderson followed Derek Jeter's two-out walk with his fifth triple of the year.
Robinson Cano had a homer among his three hits for New York, which dropped to 10-10 on the road this season. Jeter stole his 327th career base for sole possession of first place on the franchise list.
