Jason Bay drove in a pair and R.A. Dickey’s knuckleball baffled the Philadelphia Phillies as the New York Mets won 8-0 on Tuesday.

Jeff Francoeur added a pair of RBIs and Jose Reyes scored three runs for the Mets, who have won three straight to move back to .500 at 23-23.

Bay has been on a tear recently, going 10-for-15 with a pair of homers and eight runs scored in the four previous games. He showed no signs of slowing down against the Phillies, driving in a run with a groundout in the first and adding an RBI single in the fifth.

That was all the support Dickey would need as the right-hander struck out seven while allowing seven hits and three walks in six scoreless frames to pick up his first win of the season.

It was the second time in as many games that the Phillies have been stymied by a knuckleball pitcher. Tim Wakefield of the Boston Red Sox turned in eight scoreless innings in an interleague game on Sunday.

Placido Polanco had three hits and Ryan Howard added a pair for Philadelphia, which has dropped three straight and five of seven.
