R.A. Dickey threw seven strong innings and drove in two runs to lead the New York Mets to a 5-1 victory against the Houston Astros on Sunday at Citi Field.

Dickey (9-5) held the Astros to one run on six hits and helped himself with a two-run single in the Mets' four-run second inning.

Josh Thole hit his second home run of the season, a solo shot off Astros starter Bud Norris in the sixth. Angel Pagan and Luis Castillo also drove in runs for the Mets.

Norris (6-8) allowed five runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings to lose for the first time since July 17.

Michael Bourn drove in Houston's run with a single in the third.
