CC Sabathia became baseball's first 20-game winner this season and Curtis Granderson belted a three-run homer as the New York Yankees cruised to an 11-3 triumph over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.

Robinson Cano launched a two-run homer and Brett Gardner finished a homer shy of the cycle and scored twice for AL East-leading New York (90-58), which maintained a half-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Jorge Posada ripped a two-run single and Nick Swisher added an RBI double for the Yankees.

The offensive onslaught was enough for Sabathia (20-6), who defeated the Orioles for the fifth time in six outings this season. The hefty lefty allowed three runs and seven hits in seven innings to pick up the win.

Robert Andino belted a solo homer and Cesar Izturis and Ty Wigginton had run-scoring sacrifice flies for Baltimore (58-90), which fell for just the fourth time in its last 13 games.

Jeremy Guthrie (10-14) saw his three-game winning streak come to an end. The 31-year-old right-hander permitted six runs and seven hits in five innings to take the loss.
