PHOENIX -- Third baseman Jake Lamb and left fielder David Peralta hit three-run home runs to help Arizona right-hander Rubby De La Rosa win his shaky debut in the Diamondbacks' 7-6 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday at Salt River Fields.

Peralta's homer gave the D-backs a 4-2 lead in the third inning, and Lamb's homer off right-hander Ryan Vogelsong in the fifth inning broke a tie at 4. It was the first homer of the year for each.

De La Rosa (1-0) gave up eight hits and six runs in 5 1/3 innings for his first NL victory since 2011, when he was with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was obtained from Boston in the offseason.

Catcher Buster Posey and shortstop Brandon Crawford hit home runs for the Giants, who started Vogelsong when right-hander Jake Peavy was pushed back because of back soreness.

Vogelsong (0-1) gave up seven runs and six hits in 4 2/3 innings, leaving after Lamb's homer.

Lamb, who also drove in a run with a groundout in the second inning, set a franchise record with seven RBIs in the first two games of the season. He is the first rookie since Detroit's Johnny Groth in 1949 with seven RBIs in his first two games, according to Stats LLC.

Right-hander Addison Reed pitched around a two-out walk in the ninth inning for his first save and manager Chip Hale's first major league win.

Posey had three hits and scored a run, and center fielder Angel Pagan doubled and scored twice. Pagan has three doubles in the first two games.

Arizona first baseman Paul Goldschmidt had singles, two walks and a stolen base. Peralta also scored twice.

Pagan doubled with two outs in the first inning before Posey homered for a 2-0 lead.

Arizona right fielder Mark Trumbo opened the second inning with his second triple in as many days and scored on Lamb's groundout. Trumbo had one triple in 88 games last season.

Second baseman Aaron Hill doubled and Goldschmidt walked on a 3-2 pitch before Peralta's homer in the third made the score 4-2.

Pagan walked and Posey singled before first baseman Brandon Belt singled in a run in fourth inning, making it 4-3. Belt left game in the last of the fourth with a strained groin after pulling up while chasing a foul pop.

Second baseman Joe Panik's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning tied it at 4 before Lamb's homer with two outs in the last of the inning knocked Vogelsong out and gave the D-backs an7-4 lead.

Crawford's homer and catcher Hector Sanchez's RBI double closed it to 7-6 in the sixth inning.

NOTES: Giants RHP Matt Cain (flexor strain) was placed on the disabled list Tuesday after an MRI on Monday revealed the injury, Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. Cain, who underwent surgery in August to remove bone chips from his right elbow, said there is no immediate timetable for his return. "It's kind of just going off how I feel," Cain said. "We just have to let it go asymptomatic." ... RHP Chris Heston was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento to fill the rotation and will start Wednesday. The Giants wanted to keep RHP Tim Hudson and RHP Tim Lincecum in the No. 4 and 5 rotation spots, Bochy said. ... The D-backs announced that RHP Chase Anderson and RHP Archie Bradley will start the first two games of a weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday and Saturday. Bradley, a rookie and the seventh player taken in the 2011 draft, will oppose LHP Clayton Kershaw, who has won three of the last four NL Cy Young Awards.
