Brewers 3, Dodgers 2: Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez hit home runs as visiting Milwaukee ended Clayton Kershaw's 11-game winning streak.

Yovani Gallardo (8-6) posted his second straight win and third in four turns after yielding one run and six hits over eight innings while retiring the final nine batters he faced to help the Brewers increase their lead over St. Louis in the National League Central to three games. Francisco Rodriguez yielded a home run to Matt Kemp leading off the ninth before retiring the next three batters to record his major league-leading 38th save as the Brewers won their third consecutive contest.

Kershaw (14-3) struck out 11 and allowed three runs and five hits among his 97 pitches en route to his major league-best sixth complete game as Los Angeles saw its lead over San Francisco in the NL West slip to 4 1/2 games. The two-time Cy Young Award winner was unbeaten in 13 starts since a 3-2 loss to Cincinnati on May 28.

Kershaw retired the first nine batters before Gomez led off the fourth with a double and, two batters later, Braun belted a 3-1 pitch out to right field for his 15th homer. Los Angeles cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the frame as Carl Crawford singled with one out, stole second and scored on Justin Turner's single.

Gomez hit the first pitch of the sixth deep into the Dodgers' bullpen in left for his 19th blast of the season, restoring Milwaukee's two-run advantage. The Brewers, who improved to 11-4 in their last 15 games at Dodger Stadium, had two batters reach over the final three innings - both on errors - and they were erased by double plays.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Los Angeles placed 3B Juan Uribe on the 15-day disabled after he left Friday's game with a right hamstring strain and recalled INF Carlos Triunfel from Triple-A Albuquerque, while Milwaukee SS Jean Segura - who departed Friday's contest with a right hand contusion - did not play. ... Kershaw, who has 17 career complete games, yielded more than one home run for the first time this season. ... Rodriguez recorded his 342nd career save, moving ahead of Rollie Fingers for sole possession of 11th place on the all-time list.
