Astros 11, White Sox 7: Matt Dominguez went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBIs while Jose Altuve added a blast and plated two runs as visiting Houston salvaged the finale of the three-game series.

Marwin Gonzalez registered three hits and two RBIs for the Astros, who had every member of the lineup contribute to a 17-hit attack. Chris Carter and Robbie Grossman each recorded two hits and an RBI while Tony Sipp (2-1) picked up the win with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Jose Abreu notched two hits and drove in a run for the White Sox, who lost at home for just the second time in seven contests. Daniel Webb (5-3) suffered the loss, yielding four runs in one inning of work after starter John Danks was battered for seven runs and 12 hits in 4 1/3 frames.

Houston struck early as Altuve led off the game with a single and scored on Carter's sacrifice fly two batters later. The All-Star second baseman sparked a three-run rally in the third, following Gonzalez's leadoff single with his third home run of the season.

Dominguez added an RBI single later in the frame before launching a two-run shot of his own during a three-run fifth that gave the Astros a 7-3 lead. Chicago battled back to tie it with a run in the bottom half and three in the sixth, but Dominguez and L.J. Hoes delivered RBI doubles and Gonzalez added a two-run single in the seventh to create breathing room.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Houston RHP Jarred Cosart yielded four runs - three earned - and seven hits over five innings in his first start since July 7. ... Altuve went 5-for-14 in the series. ... Dominguez had recorded only two RBIs over his previous 18 games.
