Blue Jays 4, Red Sox 2: Marcus Stroman dominated Boston for the second time in a week as visiting Toronto won for the seventh time in eight games.

Stroman (7-2), who tossed seven scoreless innings to defeat the Red Sox on Thursday at home, allowed a run and six hits over seven frames while striking out a career-high eight. Colby Rasmus ripped a solo homer and scored twice and Anthony Gose had a two-run double as the Blue Jays won their fifth straight against the Red Sox and improved to 5-0 at Fenway Park this year.

Rubby De La Rosa (3-4) surrendered three runs and nine hits in six solid innings while being outmatched by Stroman for the second straight start. Dustin Pedroia's RBI double in the third and Xander Bogaerts' solo homer in the ninth accounted for the offense for Boston, which has scored 17 runs during a 1-7 stretch.

Rasmus started the scoring in the second when he launched a 3-2 delivery from De La Rosa over the wall in center. Brock Holt singled with one out in the bottom of the third and came all the way around on Pedroia's double to center to tie it.

Two singles and a bunt to begin the fourth put two men in scoring position for Gose, who snapped the deadlock with a double to right. Gose also singled and scored in the ninth to make it 4-1 before Casey Janssen got past the Bogaerts blast for his 17th save.
