Josh Willingham homered and had three RBIs and Ryan Doumit, Brian Dozier and Chris Herrmann also homered as host Minnesota routed Seattle in the finale of a three-game series.

Dozier and Aaron Hicks each had three hits and the Twins racked up 16 overall while winning for the sixth time in seven games. Minnesota had seven of its eight extra-base hits against Mariners starter Jeremy Bonderman, who was making his first major-league start in 2 1/2 years.

Scott Diamond (4-4) allowed four hits over six shutout innings for his first win since May 7. He struck out three and walked one.

Doumit started the onslaught against Bonderman (0-1) with an opposite-field homer to left in the second, while Dozier and Hicks had run-scoring doubles later in the inning. Herrmann hit his first major-league blast in the fourth, Willingham hit a two-run shot in the fifth and Dozier smashed a solo shot in the seventh.

Bonderman allowed seven runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings. The 30-year-old is trying to re-ignite his career after shoulder and elbow surgeries.
