Jon Jay started the scoring with an RBI single in the third and Holliday followed later in the inning with a two-run single.

A day after having his career-best 13-game hitting streak snapped, Craig started a new one with a two-run blast in the sixth inning - his 20th of the year - to give St. Louis a 5-0 lead. Holliday added an RBI double in the seventh, and Craig drove him home with a run-scoring single.

Reds starter Homer Bailey (10-9) allowed five runs on nine hits over six innings to fall for the third time in four decisions.
