Joey Votto smacked a two-run homer and two-run double to help the Reds take two of three and win their third consecutive series.

Zack Cozart had a pair of hits and an RBI double as Cincinnati reached the .500 mark.

Logan Ondrusek (1-0) picked up the victory with a scoreless inning of relief and closer Sean Marshall finished up to earn his fifth save in six chances.

Bruce's go-ahead homer made a loser out of Francisco Rodriguez (0-3), Houston's fourth pitcher of the day.

Jed Lowrie belted a two-run homer and Jose Altuve went 3-for-5 for the Astros, who dropped the final two games of the series.

Astros rookie Jordan Lyles allowed three runs in six innings. Reds ace Mat Latos was charged with five runs on 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Votto's tying blast in the fourth was his second of the season and first since the second game. ... Brian Bogusevic took over in center. ... Reds IF Miguel Cairo (hamstring) is eligible to come off the disabled list Monday, but manager Dusty Baker said the team may wait another day or two to activate him. ... Altuve went 13-for-27 on the road trip.
