Carlos Santana gave the Indians a 3-1 lead with his three-run homer in the top of the fifth inning, but the White Sox drew even in the bottom of the frame on a two-run single by Alexei Ramirez.

Adam Dunn hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to open the scoring for Chicago, which came into the night tied with the Indians atop the division standings.
