Marlins 5, Nationals 3: Giancarlo Stanton and Logan Morrison homered, and Hanley Ramirez went 3-for-3 with an RBI as host Miami came from behind to defeat Washington.

After Ramirez led off the sixth with a single, Stanton drove Washington starter Jordan Zimmermann’s 3-1 pitch over the left-field fence to tie the game 3-3. Morrison followed with a double and later scored on Chris Coghlan’s sacrifice fly for a 4-3 lead.

Ramirez lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh, and Heath Bell pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his eighth save.

Miami starter Carlos Zambrano (3-3) went six-plus innings, allowing seven hits and three runs. Relievers Dan Jennings and Edward Mujica came on to get three outs in the seventh after the first two batters reached. Coghlan made a nifty running catch on Bryce Harper’s liner off Jennings and Ryan Zimmerman grounded into a double play on Mujica’s first pitch.

Zimmermann (3-5) belted his first career home run in the third for a 3-1 lead but took the loss, allowing four runs in six innings.

Morrison’s solo homer in the fourth was his first blast since April 28 and third overall.

Zimmerman doubled in a pair of runs in the fifth for the Nationals. It was his 120th hit against the Marlins – most against any team – in 100 games.
