Reds 2, Braves 1:
Todd Frazier muscled a walk-off homer just over the fence in right as host Cincinnati won its fifth straight.

Cincinnati last won five in a row in May of last season.

Frazier's blast off Cristhian Martinez (2-1) was the Reds' 11th homer during their winning streak.

Atlanta’s Dan Uggla jacked his sixth homer, a fourth-inning solo shot into the second deck in left, to open the scoring. Cincinnati tied it on Jay Bruce’s RBI fielder's choice in the sixth following singles by Zack Cozart and Chris Heisey and a walk to Brandon Phillips.

Cincinnati put runners on first and third with one out in the eighth, but reliever Eric O'Flaherty induced Bruce to hit into a double play. O'Flaherty had come in for reliever Jonny Venters, who took a Joey Votto line drive off the leg and left after intentionally walking Phillips.

Reds starter Bronson Arroyo allowed one run on four hits over 6 2/3 innings, while Atlanta’s Tommy Hanson yielded one run on four hits over six innings. Flamethrower Aroldis Chapman improved to 4-0 with a scoreless ninth.

The Braves have scored nine runs total in their last five games, losing four.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Braves 3B Chipper Jones (bruised calf) did not start for the fifth straight game, but drew a seventh-inning walk as a pinch hitter. … Atlanta C Brian McCann (illness) missed his second straight game. ... Bruce is mired in a 1-for-25 slump.
