Jhoulys Chacin pitched seven strong innings and Chris Iannetta homered as the visiting Colorado Rockies snapped a two-game slide with a 6-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Todd Helton drove in a pair and Ian Stewart doubled in a run for the Rockies, who won for the second time in the last five games.

Chacin (4-2) allowed only one hit through the first five innings - a solo homer to opposing pitcher Barry Enright - and finished charged with two runs on three hits. The 23-year old struck out six and walked four as he ended a two-start skid.

Colorado got Chacin some support in the fourth, pushing three runs across on Stewart’s double and Iannetta’s two-run blast. The Rockies added three more off Enright (1-3) in the fifth to break it open.

Huston Street came on in the ninth and recorded the final two outs to pick up his 11th save.

Troy Tulowitzki was not involved in either rally for Colorado and finished 0-for-5 with five left on base. The star shortstop is mired in a 1-for-21 slump over the past five games and has not homered since April 14 after going deep seven times in the first 12 contests.
