Juan Francisco tied the game with an RBI double in the ninth inning and scored the winning run in the 13th to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 5-4 win over the New York Mets on Tuesday at Citi Field.

Francisco entered the game as a pinch hitter in the seventh for Brandon Phillips, who left with a strained quadriceps. Francisco tied it with a double down the left-field line against Bobby Parnell, then legged out a triple with one out in the 13th and scored on Drew Stubbs' squeeze bunt to give the Reds their third consecutive win.

Francisco Cordero issued four walks in the bottom of the 13th but used a caught stealing and a line-drive double play to earn his 37th save this season and his 150th with the Reds.

Mets leadoff man Jose Reyes, who started the day tied with Milwaukee's Ryan Braun for the NL lead with a .334 average, went 3-for-6 with two homers to raise his average two points and take a one-point lead over Braun, who went 1-for-2 against Pittsburgh.

No Mets player has ever won a batting title.

Reyes hit solo homers in the third and fifth for the seventh multi-homer game of his career. Both came against Reds starter Bronson Arroyo, who has allowed a franchise-record 46 homers this season.

Arroyo lasted eight innings, falling one inning short of reaching 200 innings pitched for the seventh consecutive season.

Jay Bruce hit a two-run homer and Joey Votto added a solo shot for the Reds. Bruce's homer was the 100th of his career, making him the third-youngest player to 100 homers in franchise history behind Johnny Bench and Frank Robinson.
