Gaby Sanchez doubled in two runs and Cody Ross and Wes Helms hit back-to-back RBI triples to lead the Florida Marlins past the Houston Astros 6-3 on Saturday.

Chris Volstad allowed two runs on five hits and struck out six in six innings to earn the win for the Marlins, who have won five straight.

The Astros jumped on Volstad (7-9) for two runs in the first, taking the early lead on Carlos Lee’s two-run single.

It looked as though that would be all Wandy Rodriguez would need as the left-hander put up five straight zeros to begin the contest. Florida finally broke through in the fourth, tying it on Ross’ two-run triple to center and taking the lead when Helms followed with a triple of his own.

Rodriguez (9-12) was saddled with the loss despite allowing just two earned runs and striking out 10 in six frames.

The Marlins added three more against the Houston bullpen in the seventh on Sanchez’s two-run double and an RBI single by Welms.
