Jimmy Rollins drove in the tying run and scored the go-ahead run as the Philadelphia Phillies put together a late comeback to beat the Colorado Rockies 4-3 on a rainy Sunday at Citizens Bank Park.

The game was delayed for more than an hour and a half before the start of the seventh inning and the Rockies had a chance to break it open shortly after play resumed. They loaded the bases with one out in the seventh while holding a 3-2 lead, but Ryan Madson (3-1) struck out Ryan Spilborghs and got Ian Stewart to fly out to center to end the threat.

The Phillies didn't squander their opportunity in the bottom half. Wilson Valdez led off the inning with a double and scored on Rollins' single to left to tie it at 3. Rollins then stole third and scored on a wild pitch by Rafael Betancourt.

Colorado loaded the bases again in the ninth, but Brad Lidge struck out Stewart for his ninth save in 12 opportunities. Lidge allowed a hit and two walks in the ninth but recorded three strikeouts.

Joe Beimel (1-1) took the loss.

The Rockies took a 3-2 lead on Spilborghs' ninth homer, a two-run shot in the fourth. Ben Francisco hit a two-run homer, his third of the season, to give the Phillies a 2-1 lead in the second.

Francisco, Rollins and Jayson Werth had two hits apiece for the Phillies, who have won the first three games of the four-game series and four straight overall. Spilborghs and Stewart had two hits apiece for the Rockies, who have lost five straight.

Phillies left-hander J.A. Happ did not factor in the decision in his first major-league start since April 15. Happ allowed three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out four and walking four.

Rockies starter Jeff Francis allowed two runs on six hits over five innings and struck out six.
