Troy Glaus delivered the tie-breaking double in the eighth inning as the Atlanta Braves pulled out a 7-5 victory over the host Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.

Glaus’ double to left field scored Omar Infante from second base with the decisive run to help Atlanta to its 21st win in the last 28 games.

The Braves scored an insurance run in the ninth on a wild pitch before Billy Wagner closed the game for his 10th save.

Infante reached base four times by going 3-for-5 with a walk. One of his hits was a second-inning RBI single that gave the Braves a 3-2 lead.

Arizona tied the score in the bottom of the second on Mark Reynolds’ 14th homer of the season.

Kelly Johnson (his 13th) and Justin Upton (No. 10) hit solo homers in the first inning for Arizona.

Johnson went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and had a run-scoring single in the fifth to give the Diamondbacks a 4-3 lead.

Jason Heyward singled in a run in the Atlanta half of the sixth to tie the score and the Braves went ahead on Melky Cabrera’s RBI single in the seventh.

Arizona tied the score in the bottom of the frame on Johnson’s double.

Cabrera also went 3-for-5 for the Braves.

Jonny Venters (1-0) got the win in relief for Atlanta. Arizona’s Esmerling Valdez (0-2) took the loss.
