Jimmy Rollins redeemed himself in grand style.

After his throwing error plated the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning, Rollins belted a two-run homer to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-6 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.

Raul Ibanez had a two-run double and Jayson Werth and Brian Schneider added solo home runs for Philadelphia, which posted its fifth win in its last seven outings.

J.C. Romero (1-0) allowed one hit and one walk in one inning to pick up his first win of the season.

Trevor Crowe scored on Rollins' throwing error in the ninth and Shin-Soo Choo belted a pair of two-run homers for AL Central basement dweller Cleveland, which suffered its fourth straight loss and eighth in nine games.

Kerry Wood (1-3) allowed a leadoff walk to Brian Schneider in the ninth before getting Ben Francisco to ground out.

Hitless in his previous eight at-bats since returning from the disabled list, Rollins stepped to the plate and blasted his third home run of the season to right field to end the contest.
